Hello my dear blog, I missed u so much.
Today I'm going to tell you some tips for home made mozzarella club sandwich, which is called "Super Crunchy" in a restaurant where I used to eat fast food. I tried to make it at home couple days ago for the first time, and guess what? It was really great and delicious.
Crispy fried chicken breasts with mozzarella, lettuce, smoked turkey slices, sandwich cheese slices, these were the ingredients.
The most important thing here is the mozzarella, cause it has to be melted while the other ingredients have the same taste, first time I made this sandwich I put it all in the oven and the lettuce was so awful because it was no more fresh.
So I tried to do it in a different way, and here are the tips: I opened the bread to let the inside face the heat of the oven, then I put the mozzarella cheese on one side, and the other side I put cheese slice with turkey slice; put it just for 2 minutes into preheated oven at 250°C, it has to be so hot so the cheese melt quickly without burning the bread or find it too crispy to eat. After that I put the fried chicken breast and lettuce then close the sandwich, AND... Bon appétit. :)
Ingredients:
For the chicken breast:
Half of a chicken breast (boneless)
3 cups water
1 small onion
1 tbsp salt
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp of each (curry, cumin, black pepper, paprika, dried coriander, cinnamon, BBQ spices)
1/4 cup Quaker oat chips
1/2 cup ground bread crumbs.
1/4 BBQ
1 egg beaten with pinch of salt & black pepper

Directions:
- Boil the chicken breast in the 3 cups water with the onion, tbsp salt, bay leaf and spices between brackets above, leave it for about 30 minutes or tell cooked, and then put it on the cutting board to cool, and then cut it lengthwise into 2 cm sticks, heat the oil, mix the oat and crumbs with the BBQ spices, put the sticks in the beaten egg then in the oat and crumbs mix.
- Fry them just till they become golden because they are already cooked.
- To prepare the the sandwich preheat the oven 250°C, open the bread loaves, put the mozzarella and smoked turkey slices, then put them in the oven to let the cheese melt, about 30 seconds (you can add the American cheese if you like it melted). doesn't it look yummy? :)
- Add the lettuce, the chicken sticks, the american cheese, the pickled cucumber and mayonnaise to the sandwich, and... Bon appétit. :)

Wild recipe, especially with the
Quaker oats. What a fresh idea to add this to chicken breading. Love the "super crunchy" name too :)
Try it and I hope you like it :)
