Kaber Sobhy - Restaurant Review تجربتي بمطعم كابر صبحي

بناء على طلب متابعيني ولأول مرة أكتب عن رأيي بأحد المطاعم.. وإن شاء الله لا تكون آخر مرة! 
تجربتي اليوم في مطعم كابر صبحي بمصر

في الحقيقة ترددت بالذهاب في البداية لأن المكان ليس مطعم بالمعنى الدقيق..
ولكن عبارة عن طاولات بالشارع، ومعي أطفالي فلم أكن أعلم إن كان المكان مناسب لهم أم لا، ولكن قبلت المغامرة وبما أن زوجي قد سبق وخاض التجربة ذهبت بناءًا على تشجيعه! 
في المجمل قبل أن أتحدث عن الوجبات التي قمت بتجربتها لقد أذهلني! المكان في شارع ضيق في منطقة خلف أركيديا مول، ورغم ذلك عنده زحام شديد ويصعب إيجاد تربيزة متاحة بمجرد الذهاب.. حيث يجب عليكم الانتظار قليلاً (أو كثيراً) إلى أن ينتهي أحد الزوار من طعامه لتجلسوا مكانه! ربما حتى يحدث معكم ما حدث معي، حيث لاحظتنا عائلة ومعنا أطفال وكان هناك كراسي خالية على طاولتهم فعرضوا علينا الجلوس معهم على نفس الطاولة حتى لا ننتظر مطولاً حاملين الأطفال! 
وبذلك بدأت المغامرة.. ثاني صعوبة ستواجهكم هي طلب الطعام، حيث يصعب وجود نادل غير مشغول بعدة طاولات في نفس الوقت وليس من السهل أن يأتي لك طواعية بإرادته، يجب عليك أن تناديه وربما تلح عليه أو تقوم وتحضره من يده لتعطيه طلبك وتتأكد أنه كتبه وسيحضره!  

وتأتي ثمرة عملية الجهاد هذه لتذهلك أكثر! لم أتخيل أنني سأتذوق طعام بهذه اللذة في مكان مثل هذا! هذا الطعم ينافس أكبر مطاعم الخمس نجوم للمشويات في مصر! حقاً لا أعلم إن كان الطعام مضاف له مكسبات طعم أم أنه فعلاً لذيذ دون أي تدخل لمواد صناعية بمكوناته!! من الأكيد أنه لحم طازج 100% حيث ترى بعينيك - بمجرد دخولك الشارع - الجزار الذي يذبح ويحضر اللحم بالتقطيع وما إلى ذلك، ثم فرن الخبز الذي يقدم ساخن مع الوجبة، ثم المطبخ والشوايات ثم الترابيزات!
ومع كل هذا الزحام والضغط في الطلبات تأتي الأطباق نظيفة ومزينة مثل أي مطعم آخر وربما أفضل..
أتوقف عن الثرثرة لأخبركم بالأطباق التي جربتها بنفسي! ودعوني أبدأ بألذها.. الكباب..
تتذكروا فيلم كارتون راتاتوي؟ تلك النظرة على وجه ناقد الطعام بمجرد تجربة طبق الراتاتوي! لم أتخيل أن طعم شيبسي الكباب الذي أحببته منذ الصغر هو فعلاً يرمز لكباب مشوي طبيعي ويجسده كباب صبحي كابر! هذا هو ما جعلني أشك هل هم أضافوا له مكسبات طعم أم أنه من التوابل الطبيعية؟!! الطعم أكثر من رائع واللحم طري ومقطع ومطبوخ بحرفية ومن أول قضمة يوقظ حواس التذوق بلساني بشكل رائع!! 

تأتي بعده ومثله في اللذة الريش المشوية والكفتة، طعم رائع كذلك ولحم طري ولذيذ أتعجب مع هذا الضغط كيف أو متى امتص التتبيلة ليخرج بهذه اللذة (ما شاء الله وتبارك الله)

طبق آخر وهو الحمام المحشي.. ليس من عادتي أن أطلب حمام محشي من المطاعم لأنها عادة ما تحبطني فأحب أن أحضره بنفسي من وقت لآخر.. ولكن كابر صبحي هو أحد المطاعم القليلة التي تعده بشكل جيد، في البداية طلبه زوجي ولم أتشجع ولكن عندما تذوقته طلبت طبق لنفسي!! 
السلطات كانت جيدة أيضاً سلطة الطحينة والسلطة الخضراء..

الخلاصة: للطعم لذة.. أكلة شهية جداً بمكان بسيط وسعر معقول!
المميزات: طعام رائع مقابل سعر معقول ينافس جودة مطاعم تقدمه بأسعار مضاعفة بطعم أقل لذة..
العيوب: المكان ربما يختلف عليه الزوار خاصة من يعانون من فوبيا القطط التي تتجول لتبحث عن رزقها هنا وهناك..
ووقت الانتظار للحصول على طاولة متاحة والعثور على نادل ليجهز طلباتك التي لا تتأخر كثيراً في الوصول بمجرد وضع اليد على النادل المتاح :D

As requested by my fans, for the first time - hopefully not the last!- I write a restaurant review..
Restaurant of today is in Cairo, Egypt  named Kaber Sobhy

I had been hesitated to go at first, because the place is not really a restaurant, only tables in the street, and I had my kids with me, so I wasn't sure if the place was going to be suitable for them! And since my husband went there once before and encouraged me to, so I had to accept the adventure and see for myself!
First, before talking about my experience and the meals I bad there, that place amazed me! Although it is in a narrow street in an area behind Arcadia Mall, but people had come from everywhere to try it! And it was hard to find a table available once you get there! So you should wait a little (or a lot) for someone to finish and leave his table! Perhaps you could even experience what had happened to me, when a family noticed us carrying kids and they had places available on their table, they invited us to sit with them!
Thus the adventure .. second, began the difficulty of ordering food! While each waiter is serving several tables at the same time, and is not going to come to you just because you found a table, you should call him and probably beg him or pull him to give your order and make sure that it is written and will be served!!
Here comes the meal to amaze you!! I did not imagine that I was going to taste such a tasty delicious food in such place!! This restaurant competes with the largest five-star restaurants for barbecue grilling in Egypt! I'm not sure whether there was any artificial flavors added to the food, or it was just delicious without any interference of artificial ingredients! But what I'm sure of is that the meat was 100% fresh, as you see with your own eyes - Once you enter the street - the butcher, who prepares the whole animal to be ready to cook by cutting, deboning, etc.. only for this restaurant! After that comes the bakery who makes the bread for this restaurant too, which is always served fresh and hot with the meal. And then comes the kitchen, and rills, then the tables where food is served!
With all this hustle and pressure in ordering and serving, the dishes are served clean, well garnished like any other restaurant and probably the best ones..

Enough talking about the restaurant, now the dishes I tried myself! Let me start by the most delicious, Kebabs... You remember the movie Ratatouille?! That look on Anton Ego's face "the food critic" once he tried the ratatouille dish! I did not imagine that the Kebab flavor of the potato chips I used to eat as a child really exists in real Kebabs until I tried this one!! And that was what made me doubt whether they added an artificial flavor, or just had a great combination of spice to marinate the meat!! The meat was tender and perfectly cooked, the taste was really good, it awakened my taste buds from the first bite!

Other dishes were Kofta and char-grilled ribs, which wasn't less delicious than Kebabs! The Ribs were as tender and wonderful in taste, well cooked, and perfectly marinated! And that was another thing that surprised me, when did they have time to even marinate it for a certain time to taste that good?!

Stuffed pigeons.. I'm not used to order this dish from restaurants, as I love how I make it at home, and restaurants usually disappoint me when it comes to stuffed pigeons! But actually Kaber Sobhy hasn't! It is one of the few restaurants which prepare it well! My husband ordered one, and I didn't, but I tasted it once served to him and yes, that was good, so I ordered one for myself! :D

Sides and salads were green salad, and Tahini dip which were also good!

Bottom line: Tasty meal in a humble place with reasonable price!
The good: Good quality food for a reasonable price that competes other restaurants serving same tasty food for twice the price!
The bad: Some would say it's fine, some wouldn't like to eat their especially if having a phobia from cats! :D As cats are going here and there looking for the meal of the day!
The time it takes to get a table available and a waiter to serve you is also bad but you get rewarded with a delicious meal! :)
